Dan Grading & Traning

Members of Norfolk Wadoryu Karate club travelled to Pontesbury, in Shropshire, for the annual training weekend and dan gradings. After a warm-up and some hard training in the morning, the afternoon continued with many more self-defence techniques before a dan (black belt) grading , where students had to show their skills in all aspects of karate. The basics of kata, khon and fighting had to be of a much higher standard than normal before finishing with grappling, wrestling and bag work.

All of the students passed with flying colours to receive their black belts well done all.
